Question reply a solution

hi frnds,
i hav a p4 system which i bought in 2005 half..it did not hava any major problem till date..since a week,i have been encountering a problem..the problem is..when i switch on the cpu,it is not switching on...i pressed 3 or 4 times....then it switches on..sometimes it will not on even after pressing 3-4 times..so i switched off the UPS and again switched on the UPS..then ,the CPU boots..i think think there is no problem with UPS..it is charged well..can u give me a solution....? my system is xp professional sp2

Try removing the ups and plugging the system into a power strip or the wall.

Try unplugging the power cord to the tower and blowing on both ends before replugging and booting...Does this solve your problem?

Replace the power cord..Does this solve your problem?

Try Unplugging the trigger switch from the mother board and blowing on the contacts and reconect.
Then turn on your PC...Does this solve your problem?

When your PC doesn't start, wiggle the trigger switch...If it starts when you do then you need to replace the trigger switch...

Once you run threw this tedous list get back to me...
