I bought two PNY 2gb sticks for my Vostro 200 desktop. I read on many sites that it could go to 4gb. It only works with one in at a time. When the other is in, the computer restarts over and over and over without showing the BIOS. My assumption is power...? Maybe? I really believed this thing could and should handle it. Is there something I can do to up the Available Virtual Memory? The other stick is 4 mb too short...and that sucks...

I found a clue to your problem on the web site. http://crucial.com/store/listparts.a...20Mini%20Tower

It says that you can get 4GB, but can only put a maximum of 1GB per slot. So you need 4 1GB chips to get there.

Glad it works. Some computers are really choosy about memory
