Hey guys, my computer recently died on me, the power supply went out and fried, so i went to the store and bought a brand new Coolmax 400w PS. My computer also had on-board video so i went and bought a GeForce 6200LE 128mb AGP card to help with video because i video edit with Adobe Premiere and After Effects and it has been lagging big time. So I went and installed the video card and power supply no biggy, but then i went to turn on the computer and it turned on but i am not getting a signal from my monitor. Everything is plugged in correctly, does anyone know whats wrong? I tried to plug the VGA cord into the on board video to and that didnt work. I tried 2 different monitors without the video card and vice versa and i still get no video. Whats wrong? Btw im on a HP a250e desktop.

Re: Not getting video on monitor after upgrade.
Hi skatefilmer202 Welcome to TSF
![]() You need to Disable the On-board video in the bios. First pull the new card, use the on-board to go into the device manager and un-install the video device. Then go into the bios and disable the on-board video. Install the new card and let windows find the new card. Then install drivers.
