Adding RAM
Hello,
I am planning to add some memory to my system since I just purchased XP x64 and would like to utilize my other slots. I currently have 2 sticks OCZ Reaper 1gb DDR2 800 and would like to add another 2 X 2GB sticks of the same specifications for a total of 6 GB. Both would be dual channel sets. My question is: Is there a particular way I should install either set (EG. 2GB sticks in 1 and 3). I hear about so many issues with mixing and matching ram that I want to be certain I set this up right from the start. Thanks, |
