Hey guys,
I was wondering if you lot could help me. I have an old pc (well I think so), and when I try to turn it on the power button just flashes and you can hear a fan spin like once but thats it, power button flashes and flashes and you can hear a whurring noise of the fan over and over. BUT Sometimes it turns on first go. Also when I am useing my headphones and my keyboard and mouse (both pluged into front usb ports) they will both cut out like a loss of power, earlier when this happend I unpluged my headphones and the keyboard and mouse turned on instantly, I think it might be to do with not enough power getting to them. SO more to the point I was wondering what I could do about it, do you think I need a new powersupply or something. Cheers guys, I know there is alot to read but any help I would be thankful of, Callum. P.s money is kind of a problem im 15 and saving for my 50cc motorbike forwhen im 16, also any bad grammer or spelling mistakes im sorry about as i said im only 15. |

Re: PC PROBLEMS HELP!! new power supply?
i would try swapping a known good working power supply with the one you are trying to fix / then see if the problem gets corrected
