[SOLVED] RAM not recognised...
Hi,
I have two 512mb sticks of RAM running in duel-channel configuration on my motherboard. Recently I removed my stand-alone graphics card (which had broken) and am now using the onboard graphics from my motherboard. Upon removing the old card, I check in device manager to make sure everything was ok and noticed that windows was now showing I had only 896mb of RAM. Two questions: 1) Is this because the onboard graphics requisitions some of it? 2) Is it still running in duel-channel mode? OS: WinXP sp 2 Mobo: Asrock 939NF6G-VSTA with GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 RAM: see above CHEERS |
