only boots sometimes

Using winxp, only boots up sometimes and now when working I try playing Oblivion and resets.

i don't want to sound wrong but it would help if you could tell as the make the processor the service pack any changes you made to pc etc. have you tried last known good configuration. when your pc boots keep pressing f8 then choose last known good configuration. if that doesn't work try safemode then get back to us.

please list our system specs including your power supply and any antivirus programs installed.

Nvidia geforce 8800 gts
Intel core2 duo e6750@2.66ghz
500 watt power supply
no service packs
no antivirus
already restored system
downloaded latest driver for 8800
arbitrarily needs last know good or log onto windows
just use adaware

was doing that before last reimage, still was happening then, also limited internet use, mostly for cheat codes

My power supply is thermaltake purepower 500np atx 12v 2.0, do not have tv media on system and downloading sp2 now

the thermaltake toughpower are the only ones recommended the rest are only med or low quality
you need something like this
