adding RAM to another PC - compatable?

in my PC i have 2x1GB sticks and in my other PC i have 1x128MB stick (ish).

I was wondering if it would be possible to take 1GB out of my PC and put it in my other one.

should i run certain programs and post the info here.

any help would be appreciated

My System

Re: adding RAM to another PC - compatable?

Hi markkram 1 Welcome to TSF
We would need the system specifications for both machines.
If the is a lot of age difference between the machines (more than a year or two) then you likely will not be able to do it.
Run everest it will give you all the info you need.

Re: adding RAM to another PC - compatable?

The second post is right, we need more info. Post the specs of both machines and don't proceed to change out the ram unless there is a reply from another tech.
