Reference to memory

I just built a new system, I've ran a memcheck and my memory passed. Although programs such as firefox cease to respond, and occaisionally just fail to respond. Also with some of my games such as WoW, I constantly get errors, all of these errors, are described as refernece to memory.

Hopefully this is enough information, if not I can get more. But from what I've given, does anyone know a plausible solution?

wattage
post any errors you receive in full
