Windows Vista Performance rating
I am concerned about something.
I upgraded from 1 gb ram to 2 gb ram of PNY memory, PC3200 DDR and my memory rating didnt jump much like I thought it would. heres my specs; Processor 3.8 (Upgrading this soon) Memory 4.1 Graphics 5.9 Gaming 5.6 Disk 5.7 my CPU is; AMD Sempron 3000+ 2 GB Ram (PNY brand PC3200 DDR) Asus motherboard nforce3 Socket 754 K8N 70 GB Raptor 10,000 RPM Drive (backup is WD 7200 RPM 80 gig) 450W power supply Geforce 7800GS OC Video Maybe the processor cant take advantage of the ram?

Re: Windows Vista Performance rating
The performance rating is determined by the lowest sub score witch in your case is the cpu at 3.8 but whats strange is I only have 1 gig and my ram score is 4.5 compared to your 4.1 with 2 gig.
I am not sure why this is we have similar setups except my cpu is a bit better maybe the ram will increase when you upgrade the cpu but not sure |

Re: Windows Vista Performance rating
I do not give much stock in the performance ratings and never did. I have know people who had great scores but could not run vista.
I have 4 gigs on a 64 bit amd athlon x2 dual core 4600 and running vista ultimate 64. My score is also 3.8 so imo, dont even give it a second thought.
