New Memory Leads To Blue Screens/Freezes
A month or so ago I had my PSU go on me and it took my MB with it. I had a new MB replaced (same one) and then realized my RAM was also bad. I bought new RAM from circuit city and have been using that for a few weeks without any problems. Today I received two new RAM sticks from my PC maker, took out the circuit city RAM and installed the new ones (which are the same as the original sticks that were originally in the machine). I have been getting a ton of blue screens and freezes as a result. I have run a few memory diagnostic tests and the memory comes back clean. Not sure what is going on here. I know this RAM is compatible with my MB because it is the same that came with the PC. Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Re: New Memory Leads To Blue Screens/Freezes
OK, well I tried taking out the RAM and moving them over too the other 2 open slots (running DDR2 btw) and it seems to be working. Could it be possible that the new circuit city RAM sticks could have messed up some setting in the BIOS or something that is causing the other RAM too act strangely on the other two slots? The slots that the RAM is sitting in now has never been used before. I don't know a whole lot about this stuff so my way of getting things working is by trial and error.
