Computer shuts down after 2-3 seconds, but...
*insert title here* ... when I take the one stick of memory that I have in, out (G-Skill DDR2-800 2GB), it starts up without shutting down, but nothing is displayed on the screen. I'm skeptical that it is the power supply, but I'm thinking that it would continue to shut down after 2 seconds when the memory is removed. I've already RMA'd the piece of RAM once, and I'm 99% sure they sent me a new one (it came in retail packaging with the stickers and everything).
Thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: I forgot to mention that the build has been running fine for about 3 months, and then one morning when I booted it up, it shut down 2 seconds later. Last edited by sdienner; 02-12-2008 at 02:59 PM. |
