Ongoing PSU Saga - How do you test a PSU?

Ok this has been a bit of an ongoing saga with a PSU that didn't work, but which the company insisted is fine. Having got it back, exactly the same problem persists.

So, is there an easy way for me to test whether the leads of PSU are working. Unfortunately I don't have another computer I could try installing it in.
