Is my computer going to blow up?
I'm still using the second computer my mother bought in 2000, when I was just 11. Anyways, while I was reformatting the other day, the computer randomly shut off a few times during set up. I just put a huge room fan on the side of it (it's missing on side...) and it got through. I've been using it fine for 3 days now and two times in the past hour, the computer has completely locked up. After doing some searching, I think it's definitely the PSU dying on me. I don't plan on replacing it so I just want to ask.
Will the PSU blow up? Or will it randomly combust from being used? I know that may sound ridiculous, but... The second time it happened, it went to a blue screen... but not one I'm used to...![]() Thank you for the help.
