[SOLVED] Pretty easy question, I think.

I have a Compaq Presario, that has a 3.2g processor and 512megs of ram
I have been playing World of Warcraft on it, which requires a MINIMUM of 512megs...and it seemed to run slowly at times..
NOW, i just bought and installed a 1gig memory stick...and I checked to make sure it took(says I have 1.43gigs now)....so will this make my computer run faster, and will WoW work better.

Re: Pretty easy question, I think.

Yes it will make general use in windows run somewhat better, but if WOW needs a minimum of 512 you should see a big differance in the game

Re: Pretty easy question, I think.

I know when I went from 512 to 1.5 gigs I noticed a HUGE difference in BF2142.. so I bought another gig lol

Re: Pretty easy question, I think.

lol the local Office Depot had the 1gig cards on sale cheaper than the 512 so thats why I added a whole gig...IF I had the money, I'd replace the 512 stick with another gig....maybe down the road a bit.
