Memory usage

after being hit with virus and hacks reformatted and did a clean install of windows xp but now I have very little memory. This was not a problem before. I've been working with Dell for weeks without success I hope someone can help.

Installed memory: 246 bytes
Available: 29 to 113 bytes

This is a Dell Inspiron 1000

I've attached a Hijack This log if it will help

Re: Memory usage

Did you format with xp? If so you probably still have a bug. You need
to use killdisk, or bootandnuke. If you format with xp it will leave bugs
on the disk, been there done that got the t-shirt....

Re: Memory usage

With the free version you only get one pass, but that has always been
enough for me.

I ran Killdisk and Windows Memdiag (no errors found) and Windows Memory clean and reinstalled OS, everything worked great for a short time but I still are having the same problem. Do you have any other ideas?

Warning: Hiperfcooker_V1 has been registered in the VMI namespace
Could this be a virus
