I am new to this site Plz Help Me guys..about VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP
Hi Guys,
Plz help me .... I have 1GB DDR2 RAM(512Mb-512Mb) ,Windows Xp Proffesional, Service Pack2, VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP, Inte(R) Pentium(R)D, CPU 2.80GHz.Desktop. I think this is enough data for my problem.. My Problem is whenever I Instal any game like "Soldier Of Fortune","World Racing2",NFS,i can't play those game after installing those games it says ""Could not found 3d""like somthing, One more thing is i have 1GB RAM but i can share only 64Mb,in BIOS setting there is only 3 options 16,32,&64mb not more so plz help me how i can use more memorry ...... |

Sounds like you need to add a video card. If your onboard only allows 64MB, it seems like it is not enough to run those games. Have you also tried to update drivers? Do you have an open AGP slot? I think you are going to need a newer video card to add in.

i hav 1GB RAM so why i need an extra video card and where from i get those update drivers. and wat is AGP slot and hw i know?Plz assisst me i need ur help man..... |

You can only utilize 64MB of the RAM because that's all the motherboard supports. You can't increase it. What kind of motherboard do you have, make and model? An AGP slot is an expansion slot on your motherboard.

yeah thats i know i hav to write all those motherboard specification there.But i don't know where n how i get my motherboard specification.

Well, best I can tell you have an open AGP slot. Look at your motherboard manual. I would recommend disabling your onboard VGA and getting a good AGP video card. If you aren't sure how to do this go through the video card help or get someone who knows how.
