new 1000w psu, fps drop?

hi guys, iv just bought a new 1000w antec truepower quattro psu because i was have stability problems (pc was rebooting after about 20-30 mins of high end games) And my fps has been destroyed...

I could run any game out on full no problem (quad core, 8800gtx oc2 bfg) untill the 12v rail droped 2 about 10/11 and system crashed, but now colin mcray dirt is imposible 2 play on full (havent turned it down, shouldnt have 2) and iv noticed a big drop on cod 4.

i have tryed useing difrent rail combos, and nothing worked.

this psu is almost twice the wattage, and much better quality than my old one, im compleatly stuck.

plz guys, need your help!!

thanks

Re: new 1000w psu, fps drop?

RMA? and that was the old one, sorry, should have made that more clear in the post.

it was the old one running fine untill it crashed because of its droping votages, the new one has made my fps drop for some strange reason (altho my games dont crash anymore), also insted of my old psu wich had the 4 pin cpu power thingy, this one has 8 pin, would that effect it?

Re: new 1000w psu, fps drop?

just a small update, iv just instaled rivatuner and it reports that the core, shader and memory clock are running 1 or 2 mhz under what they should be, and it wont let me "overclock" it bk to the hardwear defaults.

wth is going on?????
