Re: No Video - Anywhere!

it sounds like you may not have seated it properly
don't rely on the clips clicking over,it does not mean the ram is seated

Re: No Video - Anywhere!

I tried reseating the memory, but still no video. I have all the connectore seated well and yet i cannot get the cd drive to open either. The fan is going on the heatsink but other than this i see no signs of life from the pc. I don't understand. there is no real reason for this to have happened. thanks for any help you can give me!!

Re: No Video - Anywhere!

if there is no power to the cd drives then the power supply is suspect

Re: No Video - Anywhere!

There are lights on the front of the computer and if i turn the computer on i can turn those on or off with the light button, but i do think its odd that the cd drives don't open.
i ordered a new power supply and i am expecting any day now! i will try it when it gets here to see of i can get it to work for me. thanks again for all your help and any more i can get!

Re: No Video - Anywhere!

the help i always here, i hope you ordered a decent supply. go over all the power leeds, make sure they are pushed in tight.
i know this sounds simplistic, but many times a mainboard power connector is left out because the "trial" supply doesnt have the correct connection to it.
