Computer not turning on

Yesterday I sat my laptop down to go make breakfast and when I returned to it, it has shut down and now won't start back up. I thought it was the power cord, because for some reason it has been auto switching to battery, mess with the cord a little bit and it is back. But now what could the problem be? I know a little bit about computers not how to build one but what can I do at this point to get the computer working?

Re: Computer not turning on

Try replacing the battery and calling the manufacturer...if your out of warranty take it to geek squad or someone who can get their hands on it and tell you what the problem is
sorry to not be of much help
