Windows Memory Diagnostic - making sense of the results!!

Hi Folks,

I just ran Windows Memory Diagnostic (WMD) on my PC and received 173760 WStride-6 errors on one of my 512MB DRAM DIMMs. The other 512MB DRAM DIMM was completely error-free. I've done a search on the internet to find out what these WStride-6 errors mean but I've drawn a blank. The reason I ran the test is that I've been getting errors/reports of "corrupted" images from two different companies' disk imaging software.

Can anyone shed any light on these WStride-6 errors? What causes them and how do I eliminate them?

Any help would be appreciated.
