Ballistix Tracer RAM not working properly.
I'm fairly certain I may have to say exactly what kind of RAM stick it is, but it's 1GB DDR, I got two of them today so that I could replace the single stick of 512MB of DDRSD RAM. I did the www.crucial.com scanning tool, and it did say that the Ballistix RAM sticks were compatible with my Motherboard. The thing is, when I installed the stick in (replacing the DDRSD stick) I heard a few beeps and no boot up screen. The monitor actually stayed in power-saving mode.
I know I'll need to give more information about my computer specs, but I don't know what to put down quite yet. |

Re: Ballistix Tracer RAM not working properly.
Quick update to this little problem: I found out late last night that my Motherboard/Memory Controller doesn't support non-synchronous RAM. If there is a way for it to recognize it or support it, then I'd be happy to hear, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
