PSU for a6130n model

Hey, i came here before but this time I have another issue. I'm getting a GeForce 8600 GT card and I need a good psu that can handle it (my pc has all other requirements for the card). The one that came with my comp. can only go up to 250 watt. The card requires minimum 300-350 watt. Do any know of good psu units (400 or higher wattage and good efficiency) that would go great with my amd Dual Core Processor 5000+? Do most psu models fit into my tower or only specific ones? I'm mainly looking for one that goes for 70$ or less if anyone knows of any..

(I'm new to psus..so i don't really know much)

Any help is appreciated and Happy holidays!

Re: PSU for a6130n model

Enter your full system specs into this power calculator and set Capacitor Aging to 25%. Click the Calculate button, then add 30% to the total to allow for PSU inefficiency. This wil give you a guideline as to the type of PSU you need.

Post back with the total so we can recommend some good quality units for you to consider.

Re: PSU for a6130n model

hey Koala thanks for the reply. I did as you said and added the extra 30%. The total came out to be 410 watts. So I'm guessing that I need to buy a psu with 450 watts or higher? Recommendations are welcomed.
