Page File Usage
Hello,
I was wondering, is there any possible way to lower the commit charge of my computer? It is currently causing my computer to use 2.2 Gigs of page files. I have XP service pack 2, with 1 G RAM, so this shouldn't be happening. Why is it happening, and other than buying more RAM, is there any way to fix this? Could it be a virus? Thanks. |

Re: Page File Usage
Yes, but if I resize the page file it might cause programs to crash, as they need that memory but can't get it.
right now it shows my total commit charge as 2172296Kb, which is using up 2GB of Page files. How could I reduce this number for commit charge? Why is it using so much? |
