[SOLVED] Weird noise when booting
I have a pc that makes a weird dial up type tone when I boot up and it's doing its self test, then it never loads the bios. It might load the bios but it wont let me into the settings, so im guessing its not getting that far. Anyway, my real question is whats that sound?

Re: Weird noise when booting
That is difficult to say. How long since you have blown the dust out of your fans, heatsink, cpu fan, and power supply area?

Re: Weird noise when booting
I will thanks, as long as there are no "forum tough guys" here, theres nothing worse then someone that derives self esteem from being the bad boy of the forum, its just pathetic. Im sure thats not the case here though.
