Re: is an upgrade possible on this

No thats a totally different thing. Thats a flash drive which allows you to store up to 2GB of Files such as Music, Pictures, Movies, Files etc and transfer them to other computers.

"Microsoft’s clever use of flash memory to improve system performance and a suitable alternative to adding system memory (RAM)." It is possible to use tht with vista to boost the ram but can it be done if the motherboard already is at max?

Re: is an upgrade possible on this

ready boost helps hard drive seeks and speeds up the performance. it is not really ram though. To be honest, 2gb of ram is enough unless you are gaming, in which case, the readyboost wont help anyway. save your money. it would only be helpful if you had 1gb say.

Download pc wizard and post your specs and we can give you advice: http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcw2008_v181.exe

Re: is an upgrade possible on this

Actually Flashdrives that are eligable for ready boost will not give you more ram, it gives your system more cache. If your not sure what cache does...GOOGLE

Re: is an upgrade possible on this

Just saying it is used as cache in case the wanted to know exact ally what it does... instead of speeds up performance. Don't need to take offense to what I said, I wasn't trying to take your answer .... take it easy buddy
