My System

Re: Issues with RAM and booting up

Hello once again,

Well I wouldn't worry about the new hard drive now, it is formatted and windows installed so it's all ready to go =) The only issue i have left would be the old hard drive, and if you can help, a problem involving the ATi Catalyst Control Center 7.12 for my 9600 [wont start up properly so i had to revert to an older instance of it]

Post back soon and thanks for alot.

{Also for some strange reason, on my new setup I can log into this site normally, but when I change to another page STILL on this site, it logs me out =S, little help?}

Re: Issues with RAM and booting up

If this is an IDE drive, what is the brand name of the hard drive you have the data on to recover? Also, how is it hooked up presently...like which port, primary or secondary, how are jumpers set (if IDE), and where on the ribbon cable, plus what else is on that cable? No guarantees on recovery, but worth a try to get it to work.

On the control center, is your bios the latest version? That might be a good place to start by updating your bios to the latest version.
