RAM upgrade help

Hey everyone. I'm considering a RAM upgrade for my 4-year-old computer, since I don't plan to get a new computer anytime soon. I currently have one stick of Infineon 512 MB DDR PC3200 400 MHz 184 pin memory. (My other computer stats are in the "My System" drop-down list to your left.) There appears to be 3 other open slots on the motherboard. How much will adding 256 MB or 512 MB help on improving my computer's performance? Is an update worth it?

Also, I live in the Vancouver, BC area. I'm looking for something less than $35. If anyone lives around here, can anyone recommend any good places to buy a 512 MB stick, preferably brand-name, for around that price?
