Can I upgrade my RAM to a DDR

The following are a few specs of my computer:
Processor Intel Pentium 4 - 2000 Mhz
Processor Type: Northwood
Bus Frequency: 400 Mhz
L1 cache: 8 Kb, L2 Cache 512 Kb.
Motherboard Intel Corporation D845EPI
Chipset: Intel 845 G/GL/GV/GE/PE (Brookdale)
Memory Card 128 MB PC2700 DDR-SDRAM

My Question is I want to upgrade my RAM to 512 MB, I currently have an SD-RAM. I am wondering if I can upgrade it to a single channel DDR1 512 MB Memory Card. Because SDRAM is hardly available here or is too expensive.

Can anyone help me in determining whether my motherboard and my Processor will support a DDR 1 Card.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Deric

Re: Can I upgrade my RAM to a DDR

Okay, That surely is a relief. I was not sure if DDR1 and SD RAM was the same thing. Thanks Liam for clearing my ignorance in that matter. So I can now go ahead and purchase the memory card.

Memory card?!?!

Go to www.crucial.com, select your country in the top right, use the system scanner and buy the RAM they show... it is 100% compatible.

Mikey.
