I need expert opinion pleaaaase!!
My PC had been turning off automatically sometimes after an hour or sometimes just after 5 mins. Opened the case. And found that the network card is really hot! Went out, bought one and replaced it. I also bought a video card. A week has passed and it has been OKAY. But after that, it starts turning off automatically again! system: win xp sp2 computer: intel pentium 4 cpu 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz 768 of RAM what should be the next step please??? |

Re: Computer Automatically Turns Off
i got this info regarding my hard drive
Your hard disk is a WDC WD800BB-60JKA0 with firmware 05.01C05. The average temperature for this hard disk is 39C (MIN=29C MAX=51C) and yours is 49C. Your hard disk's S.M.A.R.T. attributes are now being analyzed and a full report about the reliability, health and status of your hard disk is generated: Your hard disk is not below any attribute threshold. This is good. Your hard disk was never below any attribute threshold. This is good. Your hard disk is now being compared to real data used to define normal values for your specific hard disk model. This way, the analysis can automatically use proper operating ranges. The images give you an idea of how each attribute is within such range. Current and raw values are shown for easier reference for experienced users. There are 1742 hard disk models in the current archive.
