Re: psu and ram question

Hi,

Welcome to TSF.

I would get a 550Watt PSU.

make sure that the ram is compatible and the graphics card is, it will tell you on the emachine website when you look at the specs on there e.g. 8x or 16x

Re: psu and ram question

You could get away with less than a 550w but you can find a good 500-550w one reasonably priced and it will be a bit more future proof (if there ever is such a thing with computers).

Re: [SOLVED] psu and ram question

If i had to choose from they two it would be the UltraX. Although I would rather go with the Antec Trio that Dai posted as it will allow future upgrades ( appart from the 8800GTX etc ) and should last a while.
