Computer shuts off in a half second

Well my problem is my pc shuts off in a milla second.

First i thought was my cpu fan so i bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186134
It still didn't fix it but i hit the power button on my power strip/backup and it went up

around 2 am i had problems with my video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814153035
then my pc went down its been down since then if i hold power button for some time it goes back on in a second and goes off a second also.
I got a new Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817152026
just got it today , but it still wont go on. So where do i go from there?

ive looked at my motherboard alot , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813153056

ill be uploading pictures also for visuals.

Hello and welcome to the TSF. Try runing the mobo out of the case, follow the directions from Linderman here: How to Bench Test Your System
Its possible you have a standoff out of place or a grounding issue which this procedure will isolate

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

Did you take the CPU heatsink off and then put it back? Make sure the heatsink isn't loose.

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

So - without the VGA the computer stays on? For how long?
What pins are broken? Could you take a picture?
What motherboard do you have?

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

Is this a new build? If so - has it ever worked?
I'm still wondering what pins are broken.

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

Have you tried the video card in different slots? Do you have another card you can try?

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

Try another power connector to the video card.
Try another card - maybe you can borrow one.
We need the complete system specifications.

Re: Computer shuts off in a half second

What video card is it? Doesn't it need an extra power connection?
The ones you linked to haven't got 512 MB.
