Ram Question

would a 2gb DDR2 PC6400 DUAL memory (1gbx2) work with DDR2 533 or DDR 400 (on my mobo)?? my mobo model is ECS P4M800PRO-M (V2.0)

The RAM should Fit into the DDR 2 slot, but it will run at 533Mhz instead of 800mhz.

Not sure as my Current PC isnt running ( Thats DDR2 ), But, im Running 1gb DDR266 on my other pc, and on my mates computer that Has DDR400 (1gb) i see no difference.

I wouldnt think there would be a BIG difference though, but im sure someone else can reply and clarify things better :D


Also - Your motherboard only Supports DDR2 533mhz and not DDR2 6400 *800mhz*

Yeah the DDR2 800Mhz RAM should fit and run, but at a speed of 533Mhz as thats the Max your motherboard can handle.
