PC freezing or shutting down randomly during game play

I play WOW and latly ive had some very frustrating times with my computer. I bought a new graphics card due to the low fps in game and now it shuts down on me during game play. First thought was overheating but it doesn't seem to be it. Here are the specs and temps of my computer(just a quick overview, please let me know if you need more info):

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2500+
Run- 1.76GHz
Temp- 45 C or 113 F
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS (512 MB)
Temp- 135 F
Motherboard: Asus A7N8X
Temp- 100 F
RAM: 2 sticks, one is 256 other is 512 (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
Power Supply: Dynex 350 W

I know for a fact its has something to do with the graphics card because nothing else in the computer has been changed. One more thing I would like to add is when the GPU shuts down during game play the screen turns black then says no signal, but I can still hear sounds, etc. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

i kinda agree with you it is video related,but not directly.id say that 350w psu isnt enough now that you have a better vid card.

Re: PC freezing or shutting down randomly during game play

Alright I think I found a solution to the problem and so far it has worked. I had my CPU overclocked to 1.76GHz and this didnt cause a problem in the past but with the new GPU it did. So I clocked it down to 1.5GHz and I havent had any problems so far.

Re: PC freezing or shutting down randomly during game play

min. for
agp=18amps
pcie=24amps on the 12v+ line
if you look at your psu it will be around only 14amps
video cards and psu's upgrades usually go hand in hand and you need something like this in there
