Cry PC turning on and off by its self??!!

My pc has been doing this thing where it turns on and off all by it's self.
Like it has done this about 4 to 5 times before but now it wont stay on
at all. It just turns on and off on and off at no discriminate length of time.
It just turns off and on off and on till i pull the power my Power button doesnt matter, and on that matter my power button has well become WAY more senseitve...odd. But idk whats wrong my diognostic lights go crazy but they land on 3-4 out of 1234 diaognostic lights. Now my manual suggests a few options to test this "possible memory problem" and I have put known working ram in it but to no good note. So i got a feeling its like a virus maybe or PSU problem? I'm feinding for my BF2 so some one PLZ HELP! i dont know what to do anymore.

Re: PC turning on and off by its self??!!

You could have a look in BIOS or use SensorsView (link in my signature) to monitor the voltages and temperatures.

Re: PC turning on and off by its self??!!

What's the brand/model?
How did you confirm it's a bad PSU?
What programs have you used to scan your computer for viruses/spyware?

Re: PC turning on and off by its self??!!

i had a guy hook a PSU tester to it. It lit up all red and was clearly in a fault of some kind.
