Memory upgrade
I have an elderly Pentium III with 128 meg ram (2x64) and I am about to add a 256 ram module. According to the documentation which came with the machine, I have a vacant DIMM slot for a 168 pin standard or registered SDRAM.
However when I recently ran an analysis of my PC, the report indicated I had a couple of 64 meg EDRAM's in there and not SDRAM's. If that report is corrrect, are SDRAM's compatible with EDRAMS's? I hope so, because I have already obtained the new module. Brian |
