I don't know if the 64-bit version of Windows will be beneficial for you as most programs and drivers are not optimized for it. I hate to say it, but if you want to go 64-bit, perhaps Vista is the way to go. This is just my experience, but I could be wrong about 64-bit XP.

well all the hardware which i have has drivers for x64 version . but i dont know about the compability of softwarez & games , but "dai" said all the softwares work , so i will take his word for it!
