Computer won't boot after I install the new DDR2 Ram

Hi, I am new here. I am here because my previous forum which I signed up won't be able to help me with my problem after a month.

Well, this is my problem. I can't boot my computer whenever I plug in the DDR2 1G kingston Value Ram.

Model : KVR667D2N5/1G

Specs :
P4 506 2.66GHz
1G DDR2 Ram
40G PATA
MOBO - Foxconn P4M800P7MA-RS2

My old Ram was a 512MB DDR, it boot nicely and smoothly when I use that ram. But whenever I wan to play some game which need higher memory, I will need to plug on that new RAM I bought so the game will run smoothly, but everytime I plug it on, I will need to restore my CMOS using COMS jumper so that the comp will load/boot.

I donou whats the problem. Please someone please help me. Thanks

Hi and welcome to TSF,

I'm afraid the RAM you bought isn't compatible with your motherboard.
Here's a list of compatible memory modules: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/upload...MEM-070212.mht

No, I don't think so. The BIOS updates for your board won't fix that: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/service/downloads.aspx?Model=P4M800P7MA-RS2&DownID=en-us0000003
