Quick Question - How Does This Fan Work?
http://www.shopbot.com.au/p-26469.html - Antec TruePower Trio 550 TP3-550
Okay seeing as there is a fan at the top of the unit, does this mean i have to have a hole in the top of my case to let the air breath? Also is this a quality fan as well? Thanks. |

Re: Quick Question - How Does This Fan Work?
that unit is a high quality PSU
the fan of which you speak actually faces toward the cpu, that fan sucks air into the psu / the air it intakes is from the interior of your computer case, thats why air flow from within the case is sooooooo important there are passive grills out the rear of the unit from which the PSU's exaust air will exit by the way; this approach is the way 99% of PSU's are set-up
