Virtual Memory
I have a Dell Computer with 2.39 GHz 502 MB Ram with 88.7 GB of free space on my hard drive. I am not sure what or where virtual memory is, but on some things that I try to open, I get a message that I do not have enough virtual memory. One of the games that I get the message on, is a game that I have had before and it worked fine. Is there a way that I can fix this problem? The game is only 8 MB, so it isn't very big, I don't know if that would matter or not. Thank you very much!

Re: Virtual Memory
Virtual memory is an area of your hard drive that is used as RAM. It is recommended that is is set to 2.5 times the total physical memory (RAM) you have (1250Mb for your system). It is depleted usually by the hard drive filling up so the space usually used for virtual memory is being used permanently by user data. I would look into backing up/deleting some data if your drive is getting full and then use the disk defragmenter utility to clean it all up.
