So I took my ram to work and put it in a another machine, it dual channeled just fine. I brought home 2 sticks from that same machine that were in dual channel mode. When I put them in my machine, no dual channel. There must be a problem with my board.

Check the ram qvl list for that board. The board might not be happy with that ram.
Clear the cmos one last time before you return the ram.
