448/512

My sons' computer shows that he has 448 MB of RAM when we purchased 512MB.

Can/Should/How I correct this?

Thats probly correct because his video card is sharing 64mb of the main ram

512-64=448 Nothing to worry about

Hi Robert,

Doby is correct. If your son buys a dedicated card, it won't use the system RAM. If it is a laptop, the shared video RAM can probably be reduced to 32 MB in the BIOS.
