Constant hard drive cut off.
Hi Guys,
The base unit of one of my PCs keeps randomly switching off. Recently replaced the PSU unit because my sister blew it up. Not sure what the problem is though, it works fine for sometimes an hour, others half an hour, and just randomly switches off cheers Scott. |

May have damaged mobo when psu went. May have damaged something
else. In my experience mobos will be the first to go when a psu fails. Stressed out capacitor, resistor, or overheating northbridge/southbridge. Make sure new psu is installed well, and make sure its up to the task at hand.
