Yes easily possible. Thats why we have this here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...selection.html Bad PSUs, I mean >99% of cheap PSUs, overrated, and underpowered for a system can produce fireworks given the right stress ![]() Which PSU was it BTW? |

Computers also should be on a 15 amp circuit, also well earthed, in the house or office. A 20 amp line heats up too much for the breaker to trip.
