After trying to install new ram windows won't load

Hello I'm new here and i need your help.
I have have a computer i built with a Athlon x2 3800 and an Asus A8N-E mobo and 2 Corsair XMS 512 pc 3200 Ram modules. It was working great. I decided that i was going to upgrade the ram because i had a Kingston ValuRam 512 pc3200 module available. I put it into the third slot and started the computer everything loaded fine and it got to the windows screen but then it went blank and it wouldn't do anything. After researching a little bit i realized i should put exactly equal modules in there so i took it out. When i tried to start it again it went to the screen where it asks you if you want to start windows normally or safe mode.... I tried all of them, i tried clearing the cmos, i tried removing one stick and everything seems to work until i get that blank screen. I really don't want to reinstall windows. Can somebody help me in any way please. :-)
