memory prices up?

Unless I'm crazy, memory prices have gone up around 20% in the last 6 months (specifically at newegg, I'm not sure if the rise has been as noticable elsewhere also). Is there a reason for this, and will they be going back down anytime soon?

i havent noticed. They havent went down though, i spent £40 2 years ago for a stick of DDR400, and just spent £42 for a stick of DDR400 last week ( exact same ).


i thaught it would of went down since DDR2 is now out.
