Strange ram problems
Ok now i have a problem that i cant seem to figure out. I have 4 sticks of ram in my pc. All of them are the VS512MB400 so its not a compability problem. I keep getting Blue screens followed by a reboot. Each time is a diffrent message, Page _fault_in_a_non_paged_area was the most alarming.
So i dowloaded Memtest and ran each of my sicks through all 9 tests until i got to 100% on each and had no errors. I put all my sticks back in and got errors on test 4. I then tested each dual channel slots 1 at a time and they both passed. So according to my tests all 4 of my Dimms are fine and all my ram slots are also fine but for some reason i cannot run all my ram at a time or i get read errors. Here are my specs Athlon 64 3200 Asus A8V motherboard 4xVS512MB440 ram BFGTECH Geforce 7800GS AGP Sound blaster Audigy 2 ZS 2xhard drives (40g Western Digital and 200gig Western Digital) 2x DvD drives Generic 450W PS(came with the case) |
