Upgrade
Hey, First of all I'm sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong place, I didn't know where else to put this...
I want to get more disk space for my computer because I only have 18.6 GB(2.46 GB free) so I would like to buy 31.4 GB to have a total of 50 GB. And also my computer is too slow and I'd like to get more RAM (I don't know how to check how much I have) So if anybody could tell me where can I buy those 2 things it'd be great. Thanks. |

Your budget can also help. Nowadays, it's not worth it getting 30GB. You can get a 160GB Hard Drive for under 60 dollars. Here's a custon search I threw together:
http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_a.../sortby=priceA Use everest, as said, to get your current info. From there, we can determine the kind of memory you should get.

Does your motherboard have SATA slots? Check with the manual to find out.

here's your manual ftp://download.intel.com/support/mot...0/73308201.PDF
Save it for future referance its hard to find. I recommend going here http://corsair.com And use their configuator to find ram for your computer. You would also need to use a ide hardrive and I don't recommend more than 80gig. One word of caution though, this is a very old computer and I doubt its worth the money to upgrade especially the ram because it won't fit another machine if you get a new one and can be expensive. A ide hdd could possibly be used in another machine in the future if you decide to get one but all in all I would save up for a new build |
