Dell 962 Printer

The printer will not work. A message appears in the printer screen saying that the right cartrdige is incorrect. This is the original cartridge (color) that came with the printer. Right now I have a dead machine. Any suggestions?

The easiest thing to try is to replace the cartridge.
If it is under warranty, make Dell fix it.

Thumbs Up 962 Right Incorrect Temp Fix

I think the least frusterating route to this solution is go out and buy a new cartridge. There is nothing wrong... just printer thinks cartridge is expired. It sucks, upsets many people, but in the end... spare yourself the stress.

But, to get it to print now, remove that cartridge. You will be able to print in black only until you replace it. Otherwise you are stuck with a dead printer.

Nothing is working. I have changed the cartridge, done all the stuff the troubleshooter recommends. Unfortunately it is only a new machine to me!!!.
