Help

im installing a new printer to my desktop and a message pops up and says THE CURRENT NUMBER OF SCREEN COLORS FOR THIS COMPUTER IS SET BELOW THE MINIMUM REQUIRED NUMBER OF SCREEN COLORS. THE INSTALLATION CANNOT CONTINUE UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED.

CURRENT SETTING:4 BIT

MINIMUM SETTING:16 BIT

RECOMMENDED SETTING:16 BIT

I tried to solve this but my computer only has 16 colors not 16 bit or 256 colors. My other computer has all different things like 16 bit 256 colors 16 colors etc. what shall i do?

Video Card

Sounds like you need to upgrade the drivers for your video card. If you know who makes the video card, go to their website and download the newest drivers. If not go to: Start, Control Panel, System, go the the Hardware tab, Device Manager, click on the + next to Display Adapters. You should see your video card listed there.
